Pop-up exhibition by Gregory J. Rose in collaboration with Solar Arts Building and BLK Collectors Esther Callahan and Keisha Williams.
Unprecedented Times is an event created to promote face-to-face interaction at a time when genuine connection matters more than ever. The exhibition centers on family, the arts, and how artists can engage with our communities as both an act of resistance and an act of reclamation.
Public Hours:
Thursday, April 2nd from 5-9pm.
Saturday, April 11th from 12-6pm.
Through Unprecedented Times, Gregory J. Rose reaches out to ask a simple but important question:
How do we, as artists, support one another…while also supporting our families and the broader communities we live in here in the Twin Cities?
This exhibition will include never-before-seen works on paper in the United States, created while Gregory J. Rose spent time in Africa, Italy, and Mexico producing art in the geographic homes of many of our Twin Cities immigrant family members, friends, and neighbors.
