Rm Frankenstein HansonBeautiful Monsters is a fun show and party with all the trappings – food, cocktails, music and art! But, it is also a chance to raise awareness – on the serious side, of the horrific monster humanity can be in the world and to remedy that by highlighting an organization that is combating some of our worst behavior. This year we are focusing on the terrible toll war takes on children by directing a portion of sales of artwork from this show to go torootsofpeace.org, an organization that works to turn mine fields into thriving farmland for grapes and olives, etc, depending on the climate. Please see their website for more info, it’s really a remarkable organization. Direct donations to Roots of Peace will also be accepted on opening night.Come have a drink, peruse the monsters and ponder what it all means at the opening party at vidtiger in the Solar Arts Building.
